What are your hours of operation?

Contrary to popular belief we are not here 24/7, however, we do have 24/7 online ordering for your convenience!

We are in the office from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Central Time zone. If you reach our voicemail during office hours we are on the line assisting other customers. Please leave a message and we will return your call promptly.

Which orders are processed first: online, phone, email or fax?

All orders are processed in the order we receive them. There is no priority given to which method was used to place the order.

My package is scheduled to be delivered today but my UPS driver just drove by and didn’t stop at my house.

UPS delivers by 5:00 p.m. to commercial locations and by 7:00 p.m. to residential locations. If you would like the tracking number for your package, please call or email our office.

Can I request no-signature required upon delivery of my package?

All packages over $500 require a signature; we cannot waive the signature required.

I need my order shipped ASAP!

We use UPS shipping and the following options are available for expedited shipping: UPS overnight, 2-day or 3-day. To ensure same-day shipping, you must place your order by Noon Central time.

What kind of glue do I use?

Refer to our adhesive recommendations brochure (PDF). The majority of our customers use E6000 and Gem Tac on fabric. More information is available on the How-To page.

How much is one gross (Gr)?

Gross is a term of measurement; one gross equals 144 pieces, which equates to 1 dozen dozens (12x12=144). However, be aware that some companies claim one gross to be 100 pieces, which is incorrect. At Rhinestones Unlimited, one gross is always 144 pieces.

What is the difference between Crystal Coated and Color Coated Colors?

Crystal Coated colors start out as a plain Crystal and have a color coating put over the plain crystal. Color Coated colors start out as one of the Standard Colors and have a coating put over the standard color.

What is the difference between the types of rhinestone qualities you offer: Swarovski, Preciosa Machine Cut, Czech Extra Glass and Acrylic?

• Swarovski Elements: Rhinestones which have individually cut and polished facets. The Xilion Rose features 14 facets. The Xilion Rose Enhanced also features 14 faceets, but has an enhanced geometry to provide more brilliance and fiery colors for stage lighting conditions. Swarovski also offers hot fix and sew-on rhinestones in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. The largest variety of colors is available in the Swarovski Elements line.
• Preciosa Genuine Czech Crystal: Crystal rhinestones which have individually cut and polished facets. VIVA12 rhinestones feature 12 facets.
• Czech Extra Brilliant Glass: Rhinestones which are produced from molds and have two individual machine cuts (front and back).
• Super Acrylic: Plastic rhinestones produced from molds.
  

Why would I need to purchase a Sample Card Color Chart?

If you need to match colors precisely, we highly recommend you purchase a Sample Card. Sample cards are available for three rhinestone qualities: Swarovski, Machine Cut and Acrylic, for sequins, and for Swarovski pointed backs and Swarovski beads. Although we provide a color chart in our catalog and on the web site, it is not possible to represent the colors with 100% accuracy.

What does “ss” stand for?

The term “ss” is an abbreviation for Stone Size. Our size chart illustrates the three units used for measuring rhinestones (stone size, millimeter, and pearl point) with cross-reference between the three unit systems.

Is your jewelry made with Swarovski rhinestones?

Our dance performance jewelry items are made with both Swarovski and Preciosa Genuine Czech Crystal rhinestones. Our line of Children's Dance Performance Jewelry includes rhinestones that are CPSIA Compliant for Children.

How long does it take for a back order to be filled?

Usually back orders take one to one and a half weeks to reach our warehouse. Once the backordered item has reached our warehouse, we will ship it to you. If the item is a special order item, you can call our office for a better timeframe for when your back order will ship.

Why didn't I receive Hot Fix rhinestones?

Swarovski flat back rhinestones are available in both NO hot fix and hot fix. When shopping in our online store, be sure to first select the "Hot Fix" category. When placing your order phone or mail/fax, be sure to specify "Hot Fix".

What do you require as a proof of business?

We must have a proof of business on file before filling your first order. We will accept the following documents as a proof of business: (only one is needed)

• State Tax Id Certificate
• Federal Tax Id Certificate
• EIN Certificate
• Business or Resale Certificate

Do you offer quantity discounts?

Quantity discounts are given when you order in full packages. Most items are also available in re-packaged (smaller, non-discounted) quantities for your convenience. The available package sizes are listed in our online store, or you can refer to our printed catalog.
