Metal Nailheads and Settings

This category includes loose metal trims and settings. Tiffany and Rim Settings are used to secure rhinestones to fabric. Nailhead studs are similar in that they are secured to fabric by crimping the legs of the studs. See our Metal Setting Tools page for easy-to-use handheld tools to help with application.

The legs of settings and nailheads come in three lengths (measurements are approximate):
Regular legs: 1/16"
Long legs (LL): 1/8"
Extra long legs (XLL): 3/16"

	Tiffany Settings Tiffany Settings are placed under the fabric and crimp over the top of the stone and are available with gold, silver, or black finishes. Silver or gold available in sizes 16ss-48ss; LL in 20ss-48ss; XLL in 20ss. Black Tiffany Settings are available in 20ss-34ss. More Info: Attaching Rhinestones
	Rim Settings With Rim Settings, stones are first placed on the fabric, and Rim Setting then placed on top of the stones. Legs are folded back on the wrong side of the fabric. Available with gold, silver, or black finishes. Silver or gold available in sizes 16ss-48ss; LL in 20ss-48ss; XLL in 20ss. Black Rim Settings are available in 20ss & 30ss. 	Rope Rim Settings This rim setting has a decorative rope-shaped edge. Available in silver only, it comes in sizes 40ss and 40ss long leg. More Info: Attaching Rhinestones
	Metal Settings for Swarovski Elements Fancy Stones Settings are unplated brass components, each specifically tailored to a Fancy Stone, that secure the crystal and allow for a myriad of application possibilities including but not limited to sewing, soldering and gluing. 	Flat Nailhead Metal Studs These metal decorative trims are placed on the front side of fabric and legs folded back on the wrong side of fabric. Available with silver or gold finish, they are available in sizes #12, #16, #20, #20LL, #30, #30LL, and #40. (Sizes correlate to rhinestone sizes, e.g., #12 is the same as 12ss.) 	Pearl Nailhead Metal Studs These metal decorative trims are placed on the front side of fabric and legs folded back on the wrong side of fabric. Available with silver or gold finish, they are available in sizes #12, #16, #20, #20LL, #30, #30LL, and #40. (Sizes correlate to rhinestone sizes, e.g., #12 is the same as 12ss.) 	Star Nailhead Metal Studs Available in silver or gold finish, these Star Nailheads are available in thre sizes: 4.7mm, 6.4mm, and 8.5mm. More Info: Size Chart
	Hot Fix Metal Studs Metal studs that have preapplied, heat sensitive glue. Available in silver and gold finishes. Available shapes include round, square, diamond, and star. More Info: Hot Fix Metal Shapes
	Metal Acrylic Cabochons Cabochons are round dome-shaped, non-faceted stones. Available in gold, silver, and jet finishes. In 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, and 11mm sizes. More info: Size chart
